He was preceded in death by his wife Emilie Gail Gordon Drummond. He is survived by his sons Doyle Christopher Drummond and Sean Patrick Drummond; brothers Donald Eugene Drummond and Douglas Bryan Drummond; and grandchildren Hannah, Benjamin, and Thomas.
Doyle had a successful career in electrical engineering, working for Reynolds Metals in their corporate office for over 30 years. He also was a consultant for Dupont Fibers.
Doyle enjoyed automobiles, fixing things, and working in his yard. Over 8 years ago, when his wife Emilie had dementia, Doyle became her caretaker.
A graveside service for Doyle will be held Monday, April 14, 2025 at 2 pm at Dale Memorial Park, 10201 Newbys Bridge Rd, Chesterfield, VA 23832.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to The Michael J. Fox Foundation, or to the Alzheimer's Foundation of America.
