Dorothy Lucile Hale, passed away May 4, 2011. She was preceded in death by her son-in-law, Tommy Simmons. She is survived by her husband, Oscar; five children, Bob Rogers and Lee, Ken Rogers and Vickie, Susie Simmons, Dianne Walls and Roger, and Donna Beasley; step-son, Warren Hale and Beverly; 15 grandchildren; 21 great-grandchildren; brother, Charlie Lambert and Audrey; sisters, Eleanor Nash and Bobby, Mary Tucker and Billy and sisters-in-law, Rose Lambert, June Hale, Dorothy Merritt, and Gracie Orrock.
Her remains rest at the Huguenot Chapel of Woody Funeral Home, 1020 Huguenot Road, where the family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. Friday. Entombment Dale Memorial Park and Mausoleum at 2 p.m. Saturday. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Bon Secours Health Care Foundation, 5875 Bremo Road, Ste. 710, Richmond VA 23226, in memory of Dorothy Hale.
