SUDDARTH, Doris Ritter, 86, of Midlothian, passed away on Friday, December 31, 2010. She was born in Omaha, Neb. on August 22, 1924, daughter of the late Abner Ray and Mary Ryan Ritter. She is survived by her husband, Andrew J. Suddarth, Jr.; her children, Sandra Suddarth Gilliland and Teresa Suddarth Blake; four grandchildren, Heather G. Angel, Sean P. Gilliland, Ty D. Blake and Chad D. Blake; and a great-granddaughter, Hannah R. Angel.
Mrs. Suddarth was a dedicated member of Bethel Baptist Church, where she sang in the choir, taught Sunday School and was a Missionary. She retired from Hunton and Williams Law Firm, where she worked for many years.
The family will receive friends, Tuesday, 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m.. at the Huguenot Chapel, Woody Funeral Home, 1020 Huguenot Road, where funeral services will be held Wednesday, January 5, 12 noon.
