Curtis Adams Sears, 66, passed away peacefully in his home on July 4, 2018, surrounded by his loving family. Curtis was born in Pittsfield, MA to Doris Irene and Frank Lewis Sears on August 30, 1951. A long career in the paper industry took him and his family throughout the eastern United States and throughout the world - most recently living in Brazil - before returning to Midlothian, VA. Besides his family, work, and travel, Curtis’s passion in life was running. He ran across Scotland from coast to coast and, in addition to numerous other footraces, completed 49 marathons throughout the United States, including four Boston Marathons.
He is survived by his beloved wife, Michelle Sears; his children, Benjamin Brewster Sears, Timothy Monroe Sears, Anna Trinity Sears, and Virginia Belle Sears; his siblings Frank Lewis Sears, Jr., Carol Ann Blake, and Lucinda Brooks Croce (twin sister). Curtis was preceded in death by his parents, and Lucy Belle Sears (sister).
