MARTIN, Charlotte Burton, 71, of Powhatan, Virginia, passed away Tuesday, January 21, 2014. She is survived by her husband of 53 years, Kenneth E. Martin; two daughters and their husbands, Lynne and Ben Doughtie and Vera and Mike Caniglia; five grandchildren, Schuyler Doughtie, Evie Doughtie, Gena Caniglia, Tony Caniglia and Michaela Caniglia; her sister and her husband, Brenda and Nick Peck; niece, Christi Freeman; and great-nephews, John and Cole Freeman.
The family will receive friends from 4 to 7 p.m. Thursday, January 23, 2014, at the Huguenot Chapel, Woody Funeral Home, 1020 Huguenot Road. A funeral service and interment will be held at 2 p.m. on Friday, January 24, 2014, at Bethel Baptist Church, 1100 Huguenot Springs Road, Midlothian, with a reception at the church immediately following.
