JOHNSON, Brent Steele, Brent Steele Johnson, firefighter and medic for Caroline County, passed away on Sunday, May 28th, after sustaining injuries from a serious motor vehicle accident. Brent began his career in public service over 20 years ago as a volunteer firefighter and EMS medic in Chesterfield County. He then served with Henrico Fire Department for 16 years before joining Caroline County as a firefighter/medic in July of 2016. Brent’s legacy of helping and healing others will continue on through tissue donation.
Brent is survived by his parents, Jerry and Kris Johnson of Midlothian, VA; his sister Leslee Johnson- Allen of Waynesville, NC; his brother Blake Johnson of Holly Springs, NC; his grandmothers Betty Jo Nichols and Doris Winburn both of Hartsville, SC; and three nephews, Luke and Ben Johnson and Cormac Allen.
Services will be held at Winfree Memorial Baptist Church in Midlothian on Friday, June 2 with a visitation at 12pm, a service at 1pm, and interment at West Hampton Memorial Park.
