Billy Earl Smith Sr.

Billy Earl Smith Sr., age 82, of Midlothian, Virginia passed away on Monday, July 10, 2023. Billy was preceded in death by his mother Edna Smith, father Clarence Smith, and his son Johnathan Smith. Billy is survived by his wife of 37 years, Barbara Smith; daughter Pamela Cheryl Smith-Davis (Patrick); Son Kevin Smith; Stepson Dean Jones (Dee); and stepdaughter Karen Woods (Brad); As well as his 11 grandchildren and 11 great grandchildren. Billy loved playing his piano, singing, and composing music, having written over three hundred original songs. He was the pianist at Full Gospel Tabernacle for over 45 years, and was a dedicated member of his church. Bill was loved by all and will be dearly missed. A visitation for Billy will be held Monday, July 17, 2023 from 3:00 PM to 7:00 PM at Full Gospel Tabernacle, 4500 Turner Road, Richmond, VA 23234. A funeral service will occur Tuesday, July 18, 2023 from 10:30 AM at Full Gospel Tabernacle. A graveside service will occur Tuesday, July 18, 2023 from 12:00 PM at Sunset Memorial Park, 2901 W Hundred Rd, Chester, VA 23831.
