Andrea Suter Anderson

On Thursday, October 20th, Andrea "Ande" Anderson passed away at age 80. She is survived by her husband of 57 years, Lenny Anderson; their son, Erik Anderson; and their Daughter, Terri Porado and her family of Doug and Dillon. Ande loved her hobbies, showing and riding horses, and singing in the St. Matthias choir, which she did for 47 years; but most of all, she loved her family. She and Lenny traveled extensively with their two children while they were growing up, enjoying numerous different cultures and historical sites. The girls would go pony trekking in England and Scotland while the boys played golf at St. Andrews and Troon. Ande and Lenny wanted the kids to know that there is more to America and the world outside of what could be seen on TV. In lieu of giving flowers, the family asks those that are able instead make a donation to the music program at St. Matthias. Services will be held at St. Matthias Episcopal Church at 11300 W. Huguenot Rd., Midlothian, Virginia, 23113 on Saturday, November 19th at 1:00PM with a reception immediately following the services.
