Terry Lee Ferguson

Terry was born in Dumas, Texas on July 29, 1949 to Loyd Clower Ferguson and Melvin Ferguson. He graduated from Midland High School in 1967 and attended Odessa College.

Terry married Joyce Speer on June 21, 1969. They would have celebrated their 48th wedding anniversary this year.

He was employed with Continental Airlines for 17 years and then worked for BAX Global until he retired in 2000.

Terry loved his family…he was a wonderful husband and adored his three girls and precious grandchildren! He was very active in their lives and supportive of their interests.

He is preceded in death by his parents and his sweet little granddaughter, Annie Mitchell.

Terry is survived by his wife, Joyce; daughters, Angela Ferguson, Amy McCauley (Clell) and Andrea Mitchell (Court); granddaughters, Jaycee McCauley, Morgan McCauley, Ethan Wilson, Baylee Wilson and Abby Mitchell; sisters, Janice Scott (Eddie) and Carolyn Hunter (Billy Tom) and many nieces, nephews and cousins.

There will be a visitation on Thursday, May 25, 2017 at Ellis Funeral Home from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. A funeral service has been scheduled for 3:00 p.m. on Friday, May 26, 2017 at First Baptist Church. Burial will follow on Saturday, May 27, 2017 in Palo Pinto, Texas.

Pallbearers will be Billy Hunter, James Johnson, Ken Riley, Larry Shroyer, Dean Olson and Bob Redman.
