Shirley worked as a secretary for Texaco and was highly involved as a volunteer with the American Legion, where she even served as state president. She enjoyed horses, music, and watching her TV shows. She loved her family and enjoyed making a home for them.
Shirley is preceded in death by her husband, Seibert “Bud” Ott.
She is survived by her son, Siebert Thomas Ott, Jr, and wife Rosanne; nephews, Michael Murphy and Daryl Murphy; grandchildren, Amber Dawn McDonald and Gary McDonald; and great-grandchildren, Victoria McDonald, Nic McDonald, and Ben McDonald.
The family will receive friends for visitation Thursday, April 20, 2023 from 5-9 PM at Ellis Resthaven Funeral Home. Funeral services will be Friday, April 21, 2023 at 10 AM at the funeral home chapel followed by interment at Ellis Resthaven Memorial Park.
