After travels from Texas,Making her home in South Carolina. Shirley’s journey here on Earth has ended, and her glorious destination of Heaven has begun. Missed will be her quick wit, broad smile, and sassy attitude. But the LOVE for her endures, bound by the links of family, friendships, chance meetings, and lively conversations; that chain never to be broken, by any force on Earth, and only strengthened in Heaven.
She is preceded in death by her parents, I.W. “Brownie” and Virginia Hope (Stone) Brown, husband, T. Richard Foster, and one son, David Lee Foster, and sister Margaret Lambright.
She leaves behind her sister, Faye Waddell (Midland, TX), her children, son, Anthoney Todd “Tony” Foster and girlfriend, Becky Smith (Midland, TX), daughter Shelbae Foster King (Manning, SC), daughters in love, Carrie Mann, Chandra Foster, Kim Foster, 6 grandchildren - Corey, Caleb, Kelsey, Kade, Kourtney, Taylor, 4 great grands - Sophie, Hudsen, Myla, and Harper, a host of special nieces and nephews, many sons and daughters from other mothers, and one little weenie, Daisy Mae.
Celebration of Life, and burial will be held in Midland, TX on July 20, 2024 at 10:00 AM at Ellis Resthaven Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers, please make donations to McLeod Hospice Foundation, 1203 E Cheves St, Florence, SC, 29506, or a local Hospice in your area. We were blessed with a team of phenomenal individuals that helped us on the journey. Forever engraved in our hearts will be Cynthia, Kristen, Marcy, and Jake.
