She was born in San Angelo, TX on March 22, 1951, to Samuel Condez Rivera & Celia “Memito” Munoz.
Sally spent many years being a nanny to the Doctor family and taking care of her own family and grandbabies.
She is preceded in death by her parents, her siblings Samuel “Humpy” Rivera; Eugenia “Jeannie” Ramos; Ezequiel “Tiny” Rivera and Frankie Rivera.
She is survived by her children: daughter Nadine and Manuel P. Borrego Jr. of California and their 3 children; son Joey Ezekiel and Maria Gonzalez of Oklahoma and their 10 children; daughter Elizabeth and Roy Ybarra Jr. and their 4 children; son John Evan and Alejandra Gonzalez and their 3 children; numerous great-grandchildren, and the love of her life Jose Eladio “Papi” Gonzalez.
She is survived by her siblings, sister Belia “Betty” Darling of Ozona, TX. Brother Daniel Rivera of Ozona, TX.
Serving as Honorary Pallbearers are Chris Gonzalez, Manuel Steve Borrego, Alex Gonzalez, Roy Joseph Ybarra III, Roy Joseph Ybarra IV, Jojo Gonzalez, Nathan Salgado, Javier Gonzalez, and Stephen Borrego.
Flowers may be sent to Cherry Lane Church of Christ. The family would like to express their gratitude to everyone who has sent their condolences and donations.
Our mother “Sally from the Valley” was a remarkable woman, a woman of strong faith in the Lord and led her family to follow the Lord. Anyone who had the pleasure of meeting her felt her love and infectious laughter. She will be sorely missed.

A public visitation for Sally will be held Tuesday, October 11, 2022 from 10:00 AM to 9:00 PM at Cherry Lane Iglesia de Cristo, 1501 Cherry Lane, Midland, TX. A memorial service will occur Wednesday, October 12, 2022 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at Cherry Lane Iglesia de Cristo.
