Roman Diaz

Roman was born February 27, 1927 in Coleman, Texas to Maria Esther Vidaurri and Roman Diaz. He married Juanita Valdez Diaz and they have been married 71 years. He was a laborer, he did construction, and worked in the oil field and in his spare time enjoyed baseball.

He is survived by his wife; son, Ruben Diaz; daughter, Eva Granado; son, Ramon Diaz Jr.; and a sister, Josie Gutierrez, numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren.

A Rosary will be held on Monday April 30, 2018 at Ellis Funeral Home at 7pm.

A Mass will be at 1:00pm Tuesday, May 1, 2018 at St. Ann’s Catholic Church. Burial will follow at Resthaven Memorial Park.
