Robert Fred Castillo

“My suffering has ended on Earth but my life has begun in heaven. Some may say my time was short, but my journey with the Lord is timeless.” On Saturday, September 21, 2013, Robert F. Castillo, 56, of Midland, TX was called home to be with the Lord. Robert was born to Mr. & Mrs. Manuel Castillo on June 12, 1957, full of life and with so many hobbies such as hunting, garage selling, trading and collecting antiques, but the way he will be remembered the most is in the kitchen or in front of a barbeque pit. He is truly loved and will be greatly missed.

He is survived by his father, Manuel Castillo; wife Elisa; his children, Bernandine Mendoza and husband; Robert Castillo Jr. and wife, Joshua Castillo and wife; step-children, Felicia Tapley, Michelle, Felisa, Deborah, Yvette Ochoa, Eric Prieto; sisters, Rosie C. Brito, Angie Byrd, Margie Rangel, and Mary Helen Silva; Brothers, Mario Castillo, Ramon Castillo, George Romero; his 39 grandchildren, and 3 great-grandchildren, and numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews.

He is preceded in death by his mother, Mary R. Castillo, his son Juan Pedro Castillo, and nephew Victor Brito Jr.

Pallbearers will be: Isaiah Castillo, Danny Marquez, Neil Mendoza, Juan Gabriel Natividad, Steven Velez, Carlos Velez.
