Robert Lewis Allen

Robert served a two year tour in Korea, he later married Georgia and had 3 children together. He was the husband of one wife and married for 71 years. Robert enjoyed gardening, cooking, studying the scriptures and sharing his faith with others. There was not a day that passed where you would not hear him say hallelujah or praise the lord. He was a landscaper for Midland College for over 25 years, Midland College declared him their national treasure as his work history was impeccable. He would rather live outside than inside and was truly God's handy man, his attention to detail was a work of art.

Robert is survived by Georgia and 3 children, 13 grandchildren and 18 great-grandchildren. He was enjoyed by many and admired greatly for his humility and high appreciation for the simplicity of life. Less was more.

A celebration of life will be held at Ellis Funeral Home 4616 N. Big Spring St. Midland Texas 79705, on February 25, 2023 at 10:30 AM.

In lieu of flowers the family asks for living plants to honor Robert and his love of gardening. Roberts family has a special relationship with Flowerama in Midland.
