Rebecca Anne Sparks was born 10/4/61 in Lancaster, Ohio. and passed from this earth on 3/18/23 in Midland, Texas. Anne was a dear friend and co-worker of many. Anne worked for over 30 years in the hotel industry and was a brilliant tactician and operations manager. Anne managed several hotels and ended her career as the Director of operations for the DoubleTree Hotel in Midland. Anne had a lifelong love for animals and turned her career in that direction in 2012. The Balanced Dog was her creation and she began the training of dogs and grew the company to include boarding and training, one on one training, and also group. Anne was very well respected in the community for all of her work with hundreds of animals on obedience. Anne was the mother of 3 children and loved them all very dearly. Her life with the children in her life kept her centered and even after they had left home she followed their lives as closely as possible. Grandchildren came along and her joy multiplied. The ballgame reports, school progress, and every extra-curricular activity was celebrated. Anne continued to love being around the little ones whenever possible. Anne also is survived by her loving mother and father. The Frazier’s have kept her anchored through many storms and also have been close in distance to celebrate joyous moments for many years. Anne spoke about her entire family often. Anne always had something funny to tell us about conversations with her mom and dad. One of the great passions in Anne’s life was Pittsburgh Steelers Football. Those of us that worked with her knew that no appointments could be made at game time or we were on our own. A remarkable life and a remarkable person has left us. Our memories will keep her with us every time a dog comes up to ask for a pet. Anne is survived by the following family, children Amanda and Timothy Macias, Xavier and Aryiana Sparks, Nicolas Sparks and Ayla Perez, Grandchildren Kristy, Camilla, Savannah, Mason, T.J., Makenzie, Madison Macias, Nova and Adonis Sparks. She is preceded in death by Grandson Dominick Lopez.
The family is requesting a private family memorial and a celebration of life will be announced for the spring. The family also requests that in lieu of flowers, Anne would have appreciated a donation to an animal organization. Some that we knew she had interest in are;
