Ralph was born on May 17, 1929 to Loyd and Dortha Webb in Everton, Arkansas.
Ralph married the love of his life, Patsy Joel Thomas, on June 10, 1950. He worked at the GMC Dealership before he enlisted in the United States Army. Ralph fought in the Korean War from 1950-1953. Upon his return, Ralph and Patsy moved to Texas in 1957 and he then worked at Sears for 17 years. Ralph bought Midland Frame & Wheel in 1974 and worked there until he retired.
Ralph and Patsy were involved in the West Texas Antique Car Club of America beginning in 1959 as charter members, as well as being involved in the Tall City Road Riders. They joined Calvary Assembly of God in 1961.
Ralph is survived by his wife Patsy, and their four children, David Webb and wife Gale of Midland, Brenda Holmes and husband Dewayne of Midland, Lloyd Webb and wife Teresa of Midland and Bryan Webb and Kelly Hughes of Aurora, Colorado. He is also survived by his grandkids, Mandy Gregg and husband Jace, Matt Webb and wife Arica, Stefan Holmes and wife Christina, Braden Holmes and wife Sara, Alec Holmes and wife Dezi, and Rani Webb and Braz Webb. Great grandkids include Westin Webb, Fiona Webb, Connor Gregg and Ella Gregg.
The family wishes to thank all of the nurses on the 5th and 7th floors of Midland Memorial Hospital.
Pallbearers include Stefan Holmes, Braden Holmes, Alec Holmes, Jace Gregg, Matt Webb, Braz Webb and Rani Webb.
There will be a visitation held at Ellis Funeral Home on Tuesday, January 23, 2018 from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. A funeral service will be held Wednesday, January 24, 2018 at 2:00 pm in the Ellis Funeral Home Chapel officiated by Reverend Butch Thomas, Reverend Brad Smith and Reverend Gayle Reeves.
