Pat Trammel, of Midland Texas, passed away on Sunday, January 23, 2011 surrounded by his family. Pat was born to Lawrence and Catherine Trammel on Tuesday, April 26, 1927 in Venice, California. Pat was married to the “love of his life”, Marianna, in Ojai, California on May 9, 1948. He was a very devoted and loving husband, dad, and grandpa. He retired in 1994 after working his entire career in the oil business. In Midland, he owned and operated Gas Lift Sales, and Services, Inc. Pat built Party Station in Midland, which he “volunteered” as part-time secretary and “Mr. Fix-it” for his daughter so he could have an office to hang out in during the day to read and do his daily crossword puzzles. Pat was preceded in death by his parents, one brother, Bob Trammel, and two sisters Gladys Graham and June Newberry. He is survived by his wife of nearly 63 years, Marianna, of Midland, two daughters, Linda Trammel Benzing and her husband Allen of Flower Mound, Texas and Sandy Trammel Lundberg of Midland; three grandchildren, Kris Lundberg and his wife Marissa and their children Aubree and Slade of Midland; a granddaughter, Jessica Benzing Smith and her husband Zach and their daughter, Caroline of Keller, Texas; grandson Jeff Benzing of Hyattsville, Maryland. Other survivors include two brothers Jerry Trammel and his wife Barbara of Caldwell, Idaho and Larry Trammel of Dallas, Texas. He also leaves behind two sisters, Gloria McKeever and Sue Wingfield, both of Arizona, and numerous nieces and nephews.
