Michael (Mike) Scott Hagan, 59, of Midland, Texas, died peacefully in his sleep on August 12, 2015.
Mike was born in Lubbock, Texas, on January 19, 1956. He graduated from Monterey High School and went on to play football and graduate from the University of Colorado Boulder. He received a bachelor’s degree in geology and worked as an environmental scientist. Among other organizations, Mike was a member of the Midland Shooters Association.
He is survived by his wife, Chris Hagan; his son, Jonathan and Krystal Hagan; his daughter, Keely and Darren Stevenson; his brother, Russell Kent and Michiko Hagan; and numerous cousins, nieces, nephews and loving friends.
A celebration of life will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday, August 20, 2015, at Ellis Funeral Home Chapel. Memorial donations may be given to a charity of your choice.
