Edith moved as a child to Welch, Texas and soon thereafter to McCamey, Texas where she met the love of her life Charlie Truman Reynolds. She truly was his special angel until his passing in 1987. After Truman’s death, Edith moved to Midland, Texas where she resided until her passing. Edith was a Godly woman who loved her family and friends deeply and without reservations. Her grandchildren and her great-grandchildren were the “apples of her eye”.
Edith delighted in writing notes of encouragement to her family and friends, especially members of her church family at Golf Course Road Church of Christ in Midland. Edith was faithful to God in every respect, worshipping and praising Him with all of her heart. While knowing that Edith is at rest with her Lord Jesus, her family and friends will miss her terribly.
Edith was preceded in death by her husband Charlie T. Reynolds on May 21, 1987. She is survived by her son Dale Reynolds (Sherry) and Daughter Sharon Kimbrell (Don). Grandchildren Daelynn Kimbrell Elliot; Debbie and Dean Kelsey; Kirk and Crystal Kimbrell and Doug and Paula Reynolds along with 12 great-grandchildren and a host of friends and family.
