Mary Francis Hillger

Mary was born on December 24, 1931 to W.L. and Bertie Robinson in Howard County. Mary was raised and educated in Garden City, Texas. She married George Hillger on July 27, 1949. Mary took care of the children at Mother’s Day Out, First Baptist Church for many years. She kept the nursery and taught the Keenagers Class at Kelview Heights Baptist Church. Mary had love and a heart for children.

Mary was predeceased by her grandparents, her parents, her brother Bill and her husband, George.

Mary is survived by her four children; sons James Hillger and wife Nancy of Tallahassee, Florida, Billy Hillger and wife Valerie of La Vernia, Texas, daughters Mary Eschberger and Patty Edens, both of Midland; her 8 grandchildren; Jennifer George and husband Terry, Chris Guthrie and wife Kristeda, Sean Eschberger and wife Jennifer, Eric Eschberger, Mandy Blankenship, Nathan Hillger, Matt Hillger, and Randy Hillger. Mary is also survived by five great-grandchildren; Elizabeth George, Haylea George, Ben Eschberger, Berkley Eschberger, and Gracey Eschberger. Mary is survived by her sisters; Viola Hillger, Bertie Wooten and husband Ervin, Deanie Craft, Betty Davis and husband Wayne, Deborah Robinson, Becky Curnett and husband Fred; her brothers; John Robinson, Jim Robinson, Kenneth Robinson and wife Karen, Loren Robinson and wife Faye, Gary Robinson and wife Tomiko, Richard Robinson and wife June, Melvin Robinson, and Jerry Robinson.

Pallbearers for Mary will be Sean Eschberger, Eric Eschberger, Chris Guthrie, Matt Hillger, Randy Hillger and Terry George.
