He attended Robert E. Lee High School before enlisting in the Army Reserves where he honorably served as a rifleman. He retired as a manager for Flotek after over 30 years of service to the company.
Pat met the love of his life, Betty Sue Martin, in 1960 in Midland. They were married on February 5, 1966. He enjoyed playing guitar and singing, antique cars and NASCAR racing.
Pat will always be remembered for his great sense of humor. He was the kindest person with the biggest heart and his memory will live on in the hearts of all those who knew and loved him.
Pat is survived by his wife of 58 years, Betty Sue Hart; son, Kevin Lloyd Hart and wife Jo Beth; daughter, Julie Lynn Wilson; grandchildren, Madeline and Seth Hart, and Keith Wilson and Bailey Aguilar; and seven great grandchildren, Schyler Wilson, Lillian Wilson, Kayden Wilson, Bryson Lee, Ellie Aguilar, Scarlett Wilson and Jason Aguilar.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Forrest and Mildred Hart; and brother, Michael Hart.
The family will receive friends for visitation on Monday, March 25, 2024 from 5-7 PM at Ellis Funeral Home, 4616 N Big Spring St. Funeral services will be held Tuesday, March 26, 2024 at 2 PM at Ellis Funeral Home followed by interment at Resthaven Memorial Park.
As an expression of sympathy, memorial donations may be made to the American Heart Association.
