Linda Lea Wilson, 85, of Beaumont, Texas passed away peacefully on January 18th 2024, with her family by her side.
A native of Beaumont, TX, Linda was born to William and Helen Jacobs on October 21st, 1938. She graduated from Beaumont High School and attended Lamar University, where she met her husband and soulmate Clyde Wilson. Linda and Clyde were later married on August 30th, 1958 in Beaumont, Texas.
Although she worked at Mobil Oil while her husband finished his education, her true passion and purpose was caring for her family. A devoted wife and mother to family and friends alike, Linda will always be remembered as a woman of unwavering faith, kindness, and a wittiness that could make even the toughest of crowds erupt into laughter.
She is preceded in death by her father William Jacobs, her mother Helen Jacobs and brother Larry Jacobs.
She is survived by her husband of 66 years, Clyde Wilson, children Tracy Ranostaj and her husband Scott Ranostaj, Warren Wilson and his wife Pam Wilson, Sherry Wilson and her wife Leah Wilson, Grandchildren Blake Ranostaj and wife Callie Ranostaj, Shelby Jumper and husband Austin Jumper, Skylar Wilson, Caden Wilson and Sydney Wilson and great grandchildren Maddox Jumper, Riley Jumper, Cameran Jumper and Jack Ranostaj.
The family will be having a graveside service for Linda on Friday, February 2, 2024 at 3:00 PM at Forest Park Westheimer Cemetery, 12800 Westheimer Road, Houston, Texas 77077.
