Joan was born in Zanesville, Ohio on August 21, 1927. She married her childhood sweetheart Francis J. McDonald (Mac) on September 2, 1951; they were married for 64 years.
Joan is survived by Francis J. McDonald, her children Phillip McDonald, Heather McDonald Bushnell and husband David Bushnell, Rod McDonald, Clay McDonald, and her grandchildren Derek and Emily Bushnell.
Visitation will be held from 6:00p.m. to 8:00 p.m. on Monday, December 14 at Ellis Funeral Home. The funeral service will be held at 1:00 pm on Tuesday, December 15 at Golf Course Road Church of Christ with Burke Brack and Scott Sheppard officiating. Burial will follow at Resthaven Memorial Park.
