Joan Carol Chastain

It is with great sadness that the family of Joan Carol Flowers (Chastain) announce her passing on Friday November 12, 2021 in Midland, TX at the age of 71.

She was born January 21, 1950 in Dallas, TX to Douglas and Joan Chastain (Leslie). Joan was a lifelong student of religion, spirtuality and a variety of subjects. She loved sharing her knowledge and wisdom with others.

Joan is survived by her sons: Carl Noel Brown, James Roland Brown and John Alexander Graichen; granddaughters: Ann Elizabeth Newsome and Ashley Nicole Williams, and grandson Zedric Presley Petitt Brown.

She is preceded in death by her parents Douglas and Joan Chastain, and daughter Lady Deann Brown.

The family will receive friends and family for viewing services at Ellis Funeral Home on Friday November 19, 2021 from 5:00 P.M. to 8:00 P.M.

Funeral services have been scheduled for 10:00 A.M. to 11:00 A.M. on Saturday November 20, 2021 at the Ellis Funeral Home Chapel. Arrangements are under the direction of Ellis Funeral Home.
