Jackie Hamilton

She is survived by her husband, George Hamilton; son, Ray Hamilton of Midland, TX; daughter Melissa Waldren and husband Phil of Weatherford, TX; her sisters, Billie Neatherland of Midland and Maylene Hilbun of Brownwood, TX. Jackie also leaves behind nine grandchildren, two great grandchildren, and two great great grandchildren.

She was on the MISD School Board of Trustees for nine years, two of those years she was the President of the Board. She was involved in starting Crime Stoppers in the schools. She was McGruff in the elementary schools. Jackie loved working in her yard and loved having her grandchildren with her. Jackie was a Girl Scout Leader and was involved in softball and PTA. She was an avid supporter of Midland Lee and Midland High football.

Family will receive friends at Ellis Funeral Home on Monday, February 4, 2013 from 6pm to 8pm. Funeral services will be on Tuesday, February 5 at 2pm at the Ellis Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Jeff Franklin officiating. Interment will follow at Resthaven Memorial Park.
