Inez Chapa Castillo

She was always busy doing her party planning and arts & crafts. She loved cooking for everyone, but especially for her family.

Inez is preceded in death by her parents; three brothers; and one sister.

She leaves behind her husband, Juan Mancias Gutierrez; eight children, Alexander Castillo and wife Eileen, Beverly Torres and husband Raul, Vivian Martinez and husband Manuel, Juan Carlos Mancias and wife Priscilla, Jason Gutierrez and wife Mindy, Roman Gutierrez and wife Jennifer, Bobby Joe Gutierrez and Juan Gutierrez and wife Bianca. She is also survived by her three brothers, Ramiro, Ramon and Avelardo; four sisters, Helen, Juanita, Lupe and Carmen; 25 grandchildren; 2 great-grandchildren; godson, Lucas and her goddaughter, Erica. She will be sorely missed by her family and all who knew and loved her.

The family will receive friends for visitation Thursday, July 18, 2024 from 4-8 PM at Ellis Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held at Ellis Funeral Home on Friday, July 19, 2024 at 10 AM followed by interment at Resthaven Memorial Park.

The family has requested memorial donations be made in Inez’s name to St. Jude Children’s Hospital.
