Howard Charnel Morris, age 74, of Midland, Texas passed away on Wednesday, July 19, 2023. Howard Morris, playful son of Carmen and Taft Morris, loving partner of Trudy Morris, and dedicated father to Sarah and Joshua Morris passed away in the early hours of July 19th at Midland Memorial Hospital in Midland, TX due to complications related to heart failure. He is survived by his partner Trudy Morris, two children Sarah and Joshua Morris, and granddaughter Aurora Jade Bowden. He is also survived by two nieces, Donna Rose, and Laura Gibbons. Howard worked in information technology and graphic design until his retirement in 2003. He also loved to watch and play sports, especially football and tennis. His kindness, laughter, and playfulness will be greatly missed by his family and friends.
A visitation for Howard will be held Tuesday, July 25, 2023, from 9:00 AM to 10:45 AM at Ellis Resthaven Funeral Home and Memorial Park, 4616 N Big Spring Street, Midland, Texas 79705. Following the visitation will be a graveside service at 11:00 AM at Resthaven Memorial Park, 4616 N Big Spring St, Midland, Texas 79705.
