She was a housewife and enjoyed taking care of her family.
Helen is survived by her son, Charles Day and wife Helen of Carlsbad, NM; daughters, Katy McKinney of Big Spring and Shawna Glosson and husband Stoney of Midland; ten grandchildren, Becky Mazur and husband Clay, Dalton Slough and wife Karly, Dustin Slough, Solon Glosson and wife Maddy, Summer Glosson, Colton Glosson, Ashley Compton, Kinsey Hodge and Shawn Day; nephew, Sean Hollingsworth; and eight great grandchildren, Brinlee, Gracelynn, Arya, Aryn, Alaina, Kash, Blakelee and Emberlee.
She is preceded in death by her husband of 50 years, Jerry Hodge; mother, Mary Wood; father, Dalton Hollingsworth; and brothers, Kary Hollingswoth and Owen Hollingsworth.
No public services are scheduled.
The family would like to offer a special thanks to the staff at Focused Care of Midland and Interim Hospice for taking such great care of our mom and loving her like their own.
