Elia M. Carrillo, of Midland, passed away on Sunday, September 19, 2010. Elia was born on April 15, 1947 in Alpine, TX to Sabino and Luz Macias. She was raised in Midland and attended Midland High School. She married Antonio P. Carrillo on September 23, 1967. Elia was a member of Our Lady of Guadalupe Church. She loved gardening, had a kind, generous and caring heart. She was a devoted housewife, mother and daughter. She is survived by her husband, Antonio P. Carrillo of Midland; son, Rene Carrillo and wife Jennifer of San Antonio, TX. The family will receive family at Ellis Funeral Home Tuesday, September 21, 2010 between the hours of 5:00 P.M. and 7:00 P.M. A Rosary will begin at 7:00 P.M. Funeral services have been scheduled for 3:00 P.M. Wednesday, September 22, 2010 at Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church with Father Edward de Leon OMI officiating.
