Donald Ray Warr

Don “Buddy” Warr was born on 8/31/1936 to Ralph and Lorene Warr and was raised in Smackover, Arkansas. He graduated from the University of Arkansas Fayetteville in 1959 with a degree in Chemical Engineering. In 1962 he married the love of his life Elizabeth Ann Warr in Bartlesville, OK and they had one child, Gina Warr in 1966. Don and Ann settled in Midland in 1968 where he established himself as an exceptional engineer working for several companies over the course of his career. Don was a diehard Arkansas Razorback fan and could tell you anything you ever wanted to know and then some about “The Hogs”.

Don is survived by his daughter Gina Warr and daughter-in-law Diana Williams of Hurst, TX, siblings Wayne Warr and Jonene Haralson of Russellville, AR, and several nieces and nephews. Don was preceded in death by his wife Elizabeth Ann Warr in 2020. The family wishes to express our sincerest gratitude to our dear friend Aquilla Watson, Dr. Juan Gil, the incredibly supportive team of Composite Lining Systems, his many friends in the community, and the numerous healthcare providers who cared for Don and his late wife.
