Carolyn Sue Wilson was born February 27, 1966 to the late Ira Jean Fitzpatrick and Iris Wilson in Hillsboro, Texas. She and her family later relocated to Midland, Texas where she graduated from Midland High School.
She is preceded in death by her parents, daughter Ashley Wilson and sister Debra Wilson, all of Midland, Texas.
She is survived by her children, Mark Wilson of Midland, Texas; Mercedes Lane of Midland, Texas; Isaiah Terrell of Midland Texas; 1 brother Iris Wilson of Midland, Texas; 5 sisters, Jessie Wilson of Athens, Texas, Linda (Wilson) Smith, Donna & husband Benny Jordan, Cassandra & husband Clifton Jonson of Lubbock, Texas and Pamela & John Shields of Midland, Texas; 2 aunts, Wilma & husband Raymond Green of Midland, Texas and uncle Cecil Davis of Midland, TX.
She was employed with Southwest Medical Clinic and Midland Security for numerous years until she became ill. She has 7 grandchildren, and an abounding host of nephews, nieces, and friends.
Carolyn loved the lord with all her heart, mind, and soul; and found joy in filling others lives with joy, and a great time. She had a true passion for Daytime, nighttime, anytime BINGO. She enjoyed events with her her family, and was always the life of the party; and holds the reigning title of “Queen of the dance” of one of her favorite hits, “Step in the name of love”. Carolyn hardly met a stranger. She was a woman of beauty, and determination. She was a natural-born survivor indeed, to say the least. She made a profound impact on all those she came in contact with.
There will be a funeral service at Faith Temple C.O.G.I.C. on December 3, 2016 at 12:00 p.m.
