Carolyn Ann Cropper of Midland, Texas passed away on January 25, 2023.
She will always be remembered as an entrepreneurial mother, grandmother, teacher, and professor to all that knew her. Carolyn was born on October 31, 1940, in Grandfield, Oklahoma to Elmer A. and Caroline I. Brown. Carolyn received her graduate education from Texas Tech University and her degrees included a Bachelor of Science in Commerce (from Texas Christian University), Master of Arts, and Doctor of Education. Carolyn, never one to be idle, created many businesses through the years and taught many children and adults as a school teacher and professor.
Carolyn was preceded in death by her husband—Michael, in 2021; and is survived by her son Charles Cropper, daughter-in-law Lisa, and grandchildren Dovire, Radix, Opari and Ziva.
