Billy Bob Carter

Billy Bob was an avid golfer and a former member of Ranchland Hills Country Club. He had been a member of Kelview Heights Baptist church for 23 years. Billy Bob proudly served in the United States Navy and was honorably discharged in 1946. His entire career was spent in the petroleum industry, retiring in 1986 after 40 years with Exxon Oil.

Billy Bob was preceded in death by his father and mother and one son, Keith J. Carter.

Left to cherish his memory are his wife; Janice Quinn Carter, his sons; Edward L. Carter M.D. and wife Linda, and Kenneth L Carter and wife Lezlie, daughter-in-law; Becky Carter, sister-in law; Donna Carter, grandchildren; Kristen Carter, Kasie Carter, Erica P. Carter, Michelle S. Carter and Alaina C. Carter and one great grandchild.

A funeral service for Billy Bob will be held Friday, June 17, 2011, at 10:00am at Kelview Heights Baptist Church. Interment will follow at Resthaven Memorial Park. Condolences may be left at www.ellisfunerals.com.
