Bill Varnadore

Bill Varnadore, 84, of Midland, passed away on Thursday, June 14, 2012. Bill was born on September 28, 1927 and in his lifetime he was a very beloved husband, father, and Pa Pa. He was a faithful member of the First United Methodist Church of Rankin, Texas. As a veteran, Bill was proud of his service in the United States Army. He retired in 1986 after a career with Marathon Oil. He loved spending time with his family, and especially enjoyed Christmas with his loved ones.

Preceding Bill in death were his parents, Jess and Ima Varnadore.

Survivors include his wife and the love of his life, Virginia Varnadore of Midland, TX; his son, Gary Varnadore and wife, Tina of Odessa, TX; his daughter, Connie Hamilton and husband, James of Andrews, TX; his sisters, Liz Trotter of San Angelo, TX; and Kaye Mooney and husband, Richard of Arlington, TX. Also left to cherish his memory are his grandchildren, Cody Hamilton and wife, Tierney of San Angelo, TX; Heather Hamilton of Midland, TX; and Cassidy Hamilton of Odessa, TX; and his great-granddaughter, Tinley Hamilton of San Angelo, TX.

A graveside service is planned for Friday, June 15, 2012 at 2:00pm at Rankin Cemetery in Rankin, TX. Arrangements are under the direction of Ellis Funeral Home of Midland. Condolences may be offered at: www.ellisfunerals.com.
