Betty Lois Adams Moore

Betty Lois Adams Moore, 74, of Midland passed away on June 24, 2013. She was born on June 8, 1939 in Salinas, California to Julia Hilliard Adams Milburn and James Bias Adams. Betty graduated from high school in Pampa, Texas. On June 30, 1936 she married the love of her life Earnest E. Moore in Gatesville, Texas. She served as a volunteer and receptionist for the Girl Scouts. Betty retired after 30 years from Baker Hughes Petrolite. Hobbies that she enjoyed include sewing, reading and music.

She is preceded in death by her parents.

Those left behind to honor and cherish her memory is her husband, Earnest E. Moore; her daughter, Darlene D. Moore Hill and husband Kevin A. Hill of Midland, Texas; son, James L. Moore and wife Jamie K. Wilborn Moore of Kermit, Texas; her grandchildren: Jennifer D. Jordan Johns and husband William J. Johns of Midland, Texas, Ashley A. Jordan Herring and husband 1st Lt. Taylor R. Herring and their son Zachary C. Herring of San Diego, California, Jared Q. Moore and wife Alma Moore and their children of Midland, Texas, and Justin T. Moore of Midland, Texas. Betty is also survived by her brothers: Barney R. Adams and wife Helen Adams of Weatherford, Texas, Donald E. Adams and wife Margarit Adams of Raymore, Missouri and Toney Hilliard and wife Ursula Hilliard of Sacramento, California.
