Beatrice was born February 27, 1941, to Brigido DeLeon Sr. and Juanita Silvas DeLeon in Chapman Ranch, Texas, Nueces County. She married her loving husband of 53 years Luis Leal on June 6, 1964, in Abilene, Texas. Together they had one daughter, Laura Leal-Sichembe, and one grandson, Bryson Joseph Leal-Costilla.
Beatrice was a devout Jehovah’s Witness, a loving Mother, Wife, Grandmother, Sister and Friend to many. Beatrice and Luis moved to Midland in 1971 where together they established her husband’s Carpentry business known for many years as Leal’s Cabinets of Midland where they helped countless individuals learn this trait. A trait that Jesus himself was taught while he was here on earth.
They moved to Midland from San Angelo, Texas, to help in the Bible Ministry. Beatrice has been serving in the full-time teaching ministry for 38 years where she touched the lives of so many by sharing the word of the Bible and Jehovah God’s promises of a better future for mankind.
Those left behind to cherish her memory are her daughter, Laura Leal-Sichembe (Ekupa) and her grandson, Bryson Joseph Leal-Costilla (Daniela); one brother, Joe De Leon (Cyndie) of Cleburne, Texas and one sister, Bernarda DeLeon Estes of Abilene, Texas; countless nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband Luis Leal, her parents and four siblings.
