Bill was a dedicated family man, avid outdoorsman and jack of all trades. He was a faithful member of Calvary Missionary Baptist Church. In addition to working at Armco Steel for 43 years, he ran a farm, and more recently performed maintenance at Elks Golf Club.
Bill loved spending time fishing with his family and traveling the country with his wife via motorcycle and RV.
In addition to his parents, Bill is preceded in death by his son, Russell Todd McElfresh and brother, Russell Eugene McElfresh.
Bill is survived by his wife of 62 years, Rosemary; daughter, Holly (Todd) Overholtz; daughter-in-law, Christina McElfresh; grandchildren, Jacob (Christina) Overholtz, Christa (Danny) Dursch; Ashley (Steven) McCain, Justin (Alysia) McElfresh; eight great grandchildren; sisters Joyce Turner, Sara Steele, and many other loving family members and friends.
Visitation will be 10:30am- 12:30 pm on Friday, October 4, 2024 at Breitenbach Anderson Funeral Home, 517 South Sutphin Street, Middletown, OH 45044. A Funeral Service will follow at 12:30 pm with Pastor Mike Carmody officiating. Burial will be at Butler County Memorial Park, Hamilton, Ohio.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Hospice of Dayton.
