Bill was a loving husband, father and grandfather. He enjoyed growing on the family farm in Trenton. Bill joined the Marines at age 18 and was stationed at Camp LeJeune, becoming a Sergeant before being honorably discharged. He retired from AK Steel after 20 years service.
In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his beloved grandparents, William Black Sr. and Florence Black.
William is survived by his wife of 18 years, Jennie (Sheley) Black; children, William Black IV, Katie (Matt) Fant, Emily (Ryan) Gross, Alec Folino; grandchildren, Landon, Maverick, Madeline and siblings, Keith, Julie, Jeff, Jon, Jodi.
Visitation will be 10-11 am on Monday, July 8, 2024 at Woodside Cemetery Chapel, 1401 Woodside Blvd., Middletown, OH 45044. A Graveside Service will follow at 11 am. Burial will be at Woodside Cemetery.
