Thinking of Steve, Debi and all the family today, this first anniversary of Steve’s passing, with prayers going up. Every time I think of Steve I remember him coming to pick up the chocolate covered caramels Alicia made. It was fun to talk to him that day. Debi said he liked the caramels! Hugs to you all.

I was the nanny for Steve's eldest 3 children in 1980-81.   In '81, I was missing a good friend of mine so he agreed to a road trip; he spent some money so we could all have a fun time.  On the way home, I was feeling down; he only had $2.00 left but spent it on 2 ice cream cones for us, to cheer me up.  That's my best memory of Steve.   He was a thoughtful person.    Prayers to his family and friends during this difficult time.

I will treasure the memories I have of Steve.  He always had a smile and a joke to share, and of course stories about the family he loved.   Heaven has gained a wonderful angel.

We used to work together.  Steve was always smiling and kind.  He will be missed. 

Steve was always so kind to me and my family!! He always would great me with up lifting words and would ask about the children and horses. I always loved his beautiful pictures of pretty places he put on Facebook.  He was always so caring to his wife Debi and loved those grandchildren.  Debi I am heartbroken for you!!!! We are so sorry for the loss of Steve.  He was a kind and loving man, to all that knew him. Always had a smile on his face and a laugh that made you feel good. He will be missed by all that knew him.

Steve was a great and caring guy and was liked by all at Macy’s.   He will be greatly missed by all and I thought a lot about him.  He was a wonderful friend and made me laugh on days I was down.  May God give you and your family peace and comfort during these difficult time.  Go rest high on that mountain my dear lunch buddy, Steve.   I will miss you.  

We sometimes had lunch together and he always ate a salad ! He called it crunchy water . He had such strength! He came to work even though he hurt so bad ! He always had a joke and smile! And he loved his children and grandchildren soooo much he is so proud of them💕 the world is sadder place without him . My heart goes out to his family.

I enjoyed working with Steve at Macy's.  He was a good guy!
He sure did love his grandchildren! He lite up whenever he spoke of them.  My deepest sympathy to his wife and family. 

I am saddened to hear this news. Working with Steve at Macy’s was such a joy.  We swapped many family and dog stories over the years. He will be missed by many. My thoughts are with his family during this difficult time. 

My heart is heavy today.  I am sorry that Steve is gone.  He was a bright spot in this crazy world.  He would give you the shirt off of his back.  My sympathy to Deb and all of Steve’s family.

I am so sad to hear of Steve's passing. He was a great person to work with at Macy's. He always was happy and joking with me and had some of the best jokes I have heard. He really loved his family and always showed me new pictures of his family and grandchildren. He always made me smile and was quick to give a hug and words of encouragement when I lost my dad to a prolonged illness 4 years ago. His kindness, sweet nature and fun loving personality will not be forgotten.  You will be truly missed Steve.
