Mary Evelyn Jean Taylor

Known to me as Mother. Never known as a genius or a slick politician, not a doctor who saved lives, not a money mogul or business woman. Just a simple woman with a good heart, a good daughter, a good sister, a good wife, a wonderful mother and a good and faithful friend to many! In my estimation, A GREAT WOMAN!

A woman full of faith always willing to help in the church. A real servant to the Lord, to her family and the community passed from this world to the next on the 11th of August at 5:00 am in the year of our Lord, 2024, "on a Sunday morning".

In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her brother, Marvin Stahley, Richard Steele; sister, Judy Spencer.

Mary Evelyn is survived by her children, Stephen W. Taylor and Michelle Y. Taylor; grandchildren, Eli Taylor, Kristopher Taylor and Joe Taylor; brother, Larry Million; and sister, Lois Roe.

Not goodbye by instead farewell until we can be together again! I wish not to grieve her death but rather celebrate her life. I love you mom with all my heart forever, Your loving son, Stephen W. Taylor.

Services will be private at the convenience of the family.
