John Walters

John Walters, age 51 of Middletown, Ohio passed away from complications of ALS on Friday, October 29,2021. He is the son of Tommie Sr. and Carol Ferguson Walters. He was born on April 2, 1970 in Middletown.

He graduated from Middletown High School in 1989. He married the love of his life, his high school sweet heart, Stephanie Triplett in 1995. John loved his family more than anything. One of biggest highlights of his life was when his baby girl was born. He enjoyed being a dad and a family man. John walked his daughter to school the first day every year. He was proud of his little family. He was at home in the kitchen. He made a killer butterscotch pie just like his Mamaw Manning. He was just as comfortable grilling outside like his dad. Even after he diagnosed with ALS, he was still gathering recipes. One of his favorite hobbies was Geocaching. He really enjoyed going to the Geobash in Waseon, Ohio each year. As long as he was with his family, he was happy. He was employed at Boral Industries in Franklin, Ohio.

John is survived by his wife of 25 almost 26 years, Stephanie, his daughter; Emily Christine, mother; Carol Sue Walters, brother; Tom (Rita) Walters, sister; Candy Collins, nieces and nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends. He is preceded in death by his father, Tom Sr.; sister, Christina Bailey; and grandparents.

A Celebration of Life will be held from 1-4 pm, Saturday, April 2, 2022 at 120 S. Heinkel Rd., Middletown, OH 45044. Following at 4pm, we will all join in a walk to Jacot Park for a balloon release.
