Jack was a loving husband, father, grandfather and great grandfather. Jack was employed at Armco for 29 years, retiring as a Senior System Engineer in 1993. He enjoyed the outdoors and was an avid fisherman.
In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his first wife, Jean (Barker) Current and his son, Michael Current; siblings, James Current and Bernadine Sorrell.
Jack is survived by his wife of 22 years, Peggy Current; daughters, Joni (Todd) Yost, Beth Hebert; grandchildren, Matthew Yost, Alex Yost, David Yost, Miyah Current, Lilah Current, Jack Current; great grandchildren, Hannah Yost, Lauren Yost, Adelyn Lakes-Yost, Rowan Lakes-Yost, Charlotte Yost, Jackson Yost, Alivia Edwards, Roman Edwards; and sister, Kathleen Wright
A visitation will be held Wednesday, November 1, 2023 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at Breitenbach-Anderson Funeral Home, 517 S. Sutphin Street, Middletown, Ohio 45044, followed by a funeral service at 1:00 PM. Burial will be at Woodside Cemetery, Middletown, Ohio.
