Herschell “Buck” Messer Jr., 72, of Middletown, passed away on August 31, 2021 at his residence. He was born March 8, 1949, the son of Herschell Sr. and Wilma (Lane) Messer.

In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his brothers, Scott Messer, Mark Messer, Donnie Messer and Thomas Messer.

Buck is survived by his wife of 46 years, Judy Messer; siblings, Kenny (Pam) Messer, Vickie (Joe) Holbrook, Joyce Finnigan, Doug (Barbara) Messer, Barbara (John) Esh; sister-in-laws, Donna Messer, Candace Messer, Diane (Jeff) Salmon; numerous nieces, nephews and many other loving family members and friends.
