Geneva Cox, 88 years old, was born bearing the image of God on April 29th, 1932 in Wolfe County, KY. After running the race set before her with great faith, she went home, leaving this far country, on February 9th, 2021 at her humble home in Middletown, OH.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Edwin Cox and her parents Corbett and Maude Bryant. Also preceded in death by her siblings Alta Spencer, Myrtle Spencer Morris, James Bryant, and Ruby Barrett; her stepsons David Cox, Charles Cox, and Danny Dale Cox.
Geneva is survived by her daughters Betty Fletcher, Donna (Bob) Manley, Maudie (Mike) Conrad; and her son, Corbett (Brenda) Cox. She was and will always be known as “Mammaw” by an abundance of grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
She never hesitated to offer you hug, a back scratch, a warm meal, or generous offerings of hearty laughter. Geneva was a faithful member of God’s Church and her local congregation at Amanda Community Church.
She was always adorned with fun jewelry and dressed to the nines. Her keen eye for style helped her enjoy her job at the Fashion Bug in Middletown, OH.
Today we grieve and let our tears trickle down our winter chapped cheeks; and we recall an infinite number of gracious memories of her. However, we don’t grieve the way the world does and now she understands that completely.
The family would like to thank Hospice Care of Middletown for the wonderful service they provided to her and the family during the past seven months. In lieu of flowers, the family request that memorial donations be made to Hospice Care of Middletown, 4418 Lewis Street, Middletown, Ohio 45044-6183.
She will be laid to rest at the Butler County Memorial Park, on Friday, February 12, 2021.
