Evea D. Stacy

Evea D. Stacy, age 76, of Middletown, Ohio passed away on Monday, October 31, 2022 at home surrounded by her loving family. She was born September 23, 1946 in Hazard, Kentucky to Boone and Janice (Webb) Farler.

Evea graduated from Carlisle High School where she met the love of her life, Walter “Gene” Stacy. They married July 3, 1964, and they had two sons, Daniel and Christopher, whom they were very proud of.

Evea worked at the Middletown Journal News until 1978 and Middletown Regional Hospital and Atrium until 2009, where she was a Registrar and never met a stranger.

Evea loved being a vendor at the flea market and spending time with Gene in Mexico. A loving wife, mother, grandmother and friend to many, she was preceded in death by her husband, Walter Eugene “Gene” Stacy; her parents and mother-in-law and father-in-law, Edna Warmoth and Ray Stacy.

Evea is survived by her two sons, Dan of Middletown, and Chris (Tina) of Carlisle; two granddaughters, Alissa and Hailey. Also brother, Wiley (Sue) Farler; sister Darlene (Hobert) Fletcher, and their children, Leslie, Michelle and Amy.

Visitation will be Saturday November 5, 2022, 12-1pm at Breitenbach Anderson Funeral Home, 517 South Sutphin St., Middletown, OH 45044. A Celebration of Life Service will be held at 1pm with Rev. Jimmy Anderson officiating. Interment will be at Woodside Cemetery following the service.
