Delbert Joseph Waddell

Delbert Joseph (Skip) Waddell, age 83, of Monroe Ohio, passed away on February 1st, 2022, at UC Health Hospital in West Chester Ohio. He was born in Cincinnati, Ohio on March 27, 1938, the son of Delbert C Waddell and Edith (Remmer) Waddell.

In his later years he and his wife Sue helped foster and care for over 100 puppies with Animal Friends Humane Society before they were placed in their "forever homes".

In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his wife of nearly 50 years Thelma Sue Waddell, son-in-law Bryan Beck, and grandson Colin Waddell.

Skip is survived by his children; a daughter, Teri Beck of Westerville, Ohio; three sons, Greg (Cindy) Waddell of Monroe, Doug (Kym) Waddell of Delaware, Ohio, and Dave (Jen) Waddell of Seattle, Washington; six grandchildren, Corey Beck, Zac Waddell, Madeline Waddell, Kaitlyn Waddell, Riley Waddell, and Sadie Waddell.

Calling time for friends and family will be Friday March 18th at 11:00 AM at Holy Family Parish, Saint John's Catholic Church 1405 1st Ave, Middletown Ohio. Requiem Mass will follow the calling period at 12:00 PM with Father John Civille officiating. Skip will be interred with his wife, Sue, at Butler County Memorial Park in a private service with immediate family.
