Betty Evelyn Hodson

She was born on October 24, 1930, to William Perry Henry and Oney (McGuire) Henry in Bonny, Kentucky.

Betty was a member of the Mt. Olivet Presbyterian Church in Trenton. She was employed by Madison Junior High School and, later, Babeck Elementary School as the cafeteria manager.

In addition to her parents, Betty was preceded in death by her husband, Herman Hodson; sisters, Maxine Harbaum, Pauline Helton and Nellavene Roe; and brothers, Woodford Henry, Milford Henry, Asa Henry, and Billy Henry.

Betty is survived by her daughters, Donna Hodson (David Sharkey), Kimberly (Clinton) Garcia, and Lisa Hodson. She was loving grandmother to Jamie Mantovani, Michael Barr, Taryn Hackett, Andrew Garcia, Christopher Garcia, and great-grand daughters Waverly Loyd and Grace Loyd. Betty is also survived by her sisters, Helen (Charles) Martin and Phyllis Hayes, and many nieces and nephews, as well as dear friends, Nina Hacker and Laura Garcia.

Visitation will be 10:30-11:30, Saturday, September 11, 2021 at Breitenbach Anderson Funeral Home, 517 S. Sutphin St., Middletown, OH 45044. A Celebration of Life will follow at 11:30 am, with Pastor Rodney Roe officiating. Burial will be at Pleasant Hill Cemetery, Middletown.
