I’m so sorry for your loss.  Scott and I were friends  in high school. He was a very gentle ,truly nice guy. I remember going to the hospital when he played football and had a spinal injury. I was so upset at the time. We had several classes together. I’m sorry we never stayed in touch.  

Dear Pat, Virg, Rick, Kim, and family,
I was shocked and very sad when Rick informed me about Scott. I had hoped he was doing better. He was a kind, gentle soul and the world will be much emptier without him. Please accept my deepest condolences, and also, my sincerest apologies that I cannot be there for the funeral. I am currently living in the Netherlands and am unable to travel due to the pandemic. Otherwise, I would be there to share a moment with you all. I hold dear memories of our past together in Brunswick which I will forever cherish. My thoughts and prayers are with you all at this difficult time.

It's hard for me to believe this is even really happening. I wish I could be there with you all to celebrate Scott's life. I will always remember Scotts smile, he was always smiling. I remember Scott taking Lisa and I to the movies to see The Exorcist! We got in so much trouble for seeing that movie! HAHAHA I remember all the family BBQ's, holiday's in the basements and homes. I remember going to get donuts with Scott, Ricky and Kimmy, walking to the donut store. Good times with my cousins. 

Scott was one of the friendliest, most welcoming guys I ever knew.  I have great memories of hanging out with him that date back to his time at the University of Akron and up to his years living in Florida, when he would let me crash at his apartment during vacations.

I can’t begin to process this.  I am incredibly sorry for the loss of Scott.  I always called him Uncle Scott.  I have so many memories of him.  Especially our trip to Florida in the summer of 1988 after my Dads passing.  I’ll never forget our trip to Disney, Busch Garden, and trips to the ocean.  Burying my head so far into Scott while on the Haunted Mansion ride at Disney because I was so scared, riding the elephant at Busch Gardens and me wrapping my arms around his neck carrying me into the ocean for the first time ever are just a few things I will always cherish.  Our talks we had over the years I will always hold dear to my heart.  The collection of shark teeth that he found over the years that he gave me I still have.  I will miss him dearly.  Rest easy Scott!  Give Everyone a hug for me!! Til we meet again!!
