Richard P. Nemetz

Dearly beloved husband of 64 years to Phyllis (nee Abramowski), loving father of Randolph (Gail) Nemetz, dearest grandfather of Leo, Jack and Brett, dearest brother of Jean Nemetz, George (Wilma) Nemetz, and Paul Nemetz (deceased), dear uncle, brother in law of Roland (deceased) Colleen Abramowski, David (Nancy, deceased) Abramowski and Gary (Holly) Abramowski, and dear friend of many. Richard was a proud veteran of the United States Army. He graduated from Case Western Reserve with a degree in Civil Engineering and a Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering. Richard worked for TRW for many years retiring in 2002. He loved spending time with his family, especially his grandchildren at his lake house at Catawaba. Richard was an usher at St. Joseph Catholic Church Strongsville. Both Richard and his wife Phyllis were involved in various mission service programs.

Relatives and Friends are invited to a Memorial Services held on Friday March 22, 2024 at 10:30 at St. Joseph Catholic Church, 12700 Pearl Rd. Strongsville Ohio 44136.

In Lieu of flowers family donations in Richard’s memory may be made to Phyllis Nemetz to be used for the various cost of the services.

Private Committal Services with full military honors will be held for Richard at Ohio Western Reserve National Cemetery.
